HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF OUR SPECIALS View Specials
A word about our specials: Many of you look forward to this newsletter to plan and book for our monthly specials. We had a wonderful 2006 specials turnout, but a reminder to all of you that the specials are designed to be an additional way to have some quick portraits done in addition to our regular sessions. They are not a substitute for a regular session where I really spend the time to capture exactly what you want. Please keep this in mind especially for the family portrait specials. For families with several children, booking a regular session will give you better results if I have the time to spend on you. The specials are rushed at times and I will continue to offer them as long as you all understand that they are a very different type of session than our regular sessions. Tips for making them successful include being on time and not trying to squeeze too much in.

MATERNITY/BIRTHING PORTRAITS
It is always a privilege to be present for the birth of a child. I love it and am so lucky to be a part of this precious moment. Please ask to see the DVD demo’s I have here in the studio. What a beautiful keepsake to have of your family. There is nothing like it. If this is something you may be interested in, please call me and we can discuss the details. I am sure any of my birth moms would be happy to talk to you about their experience with this sensitive once in a lifetime opportunity.

INFANT / FAMILY PROGRAM
This program can be used by new parents, as well as families with a need for portraits more than 3 times per year.

For a prepayment of $300.00 you will receive 3 regular sessions, as well as one of our specials during one calendar year.

You will also receive one 5 x 7 portrait of each of your three regular sessions. This is a total value of $490.00 for $300.00! Wow! Please call the studio if you would like to take advantage of this offer. It can be started at any time during the year.

BETSY’S FAMILY NEWS
We have enjoyed settling into our new home and have officially been here a year. We really love this northern location. The boys are fantastic. Tyler is now in his second year of college and moved out in August. We miss him but he is having a great time with his buddies in their bachelor pad! Tony is in 5th grade and between Baseball, Basketball, football and friends he keeps me very busy. And, of course, I cannot forget Luna and Caymus. As crazy as they are, they love greeting all of you.

NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP
As many of you know I have been involved now for over 2 years with a non profit organization that provides infant remembrance photography. I am the Northern Colorado Area Coordinator and having been the only photographer up here for the first year we now have 6 very dedicated professional photographers who donate our time to this worthy cause. I have never found any work to be so satisfying and at the same time so difficult. Thank you to all for your support. This is such an amazing organization.
